The color is called ultraviolet poly It looks like the blue color that the old flouresent black lites made. The picture does not do the color justice. out in the sun you can see the red and silver metallic in the paint at certian angles you can see a red tint. The paint is PPG DBC base coat with Concept DCU 2002 clear coat This paint is super easy to spray great for a novice painter You cant hardly screw it up. One thing you need to to do before putting on any paint or primer clean the surface of the body real good there seems to be a lot of waxy film on it from the parting agent.

The silver for the frame is the same as the body. I sandblasted the frame with a fine grade of sand. then hand sanded it.I used an acrylic sandable primer surfacer sanded that with 400 grit wet then used PPG epoxy primer DP 40 LF primer and DP 402 LF activator then 3 coats of the silver and 3 of the clear I put on an extra coat of each when you are painting all them little tubes it is very easy to miss a few spots.

Here is what my dash looks like. The empty hole is for the carb temp gauge that is on back order.I will be using a microair 760 radio. I did not use the center of the dash for my radio and avionics as BJ suggested.I do not plan on flying to commercial airports to need a transponder. The micro air fits into a 2 1/4 in hole I have a compass mounted in there now just to cover up the hole. I may add later an OAT gauge but that will be in the lower panel.
